i have a aqua reef 200 and i would like to increase the area of the display part of my tank !
has aney one removed the rear sections and opend the tank rite up all i have in there is the heater and skimmer

i think this tacks up 35 percent of the display shame to wast it
i would build a resevwire (sorry spelling :lol: ) to house the skimmer and heater in one corner or build a sump but rather not drill

I cannot comment on your particular tank, but just going by my Boyu I think it is possible to do.

I have the 4 chambers in the rear and I think I could easily dremmel cut the dividers and front panels out or even just 2 of them for more display area.  Adding a corner tooth comb wier fed resevoir would sure take up less space.

So long as the tank is complete with the chambers installed inside they should be removable IMO.  The only drawback I can see is if the compartment provides support like a brace bar would?

i would add the brace bars to add peace of mined but i dont want to ruin the tank as i dont have another apart fom one i will be using as a holding tank while the sealent is drying which is to small to use pemanantly
