hi steven

sorry to hear this,  sounds as tho fish may have something seriously wrong,   iv not had much of these issues, so cant advise much,

only thing i can suggest is to put fish in a soft mesh breeding trap, so at least it has support rather than being blown around tank, or bashing on the rocks/gravel.

it could be the equivalent of a bad tummy or it could be that the fish is dying ,  i guess only time will tell.

other members may know more.

i have just checked all my parameters and all are fine. so maybe it is just one of them things but obviously she don't look good and i don't like to see her like it so how long do you recon i should leave it before putting her out of her missery or do you just leave them till the end?

Have you done anything different in the last week or so, i.e.. added anything?, changed something?

I have had this happen several times with new fish just cross your fingers. I would leave it alone if nothing is bothering it. Hope its just bloat!

Bad luck mate... shame to loose such a lovely fish... It does happen though... Did you have any more thoughts as to a possible cause? Nothing else showing any negative signs are there?
