Ok I hope this has worked as done it all on my mobile if it has not I will do it on my computer tomorrow!

Ok as you can see on the top picture I have that furry stuff on my rock anyone know what it is? This was on my rock when I bought it and thought nothing else. On the bottom pic a piece of this furry part had grown into a ball fallen off and now seems to be moving slowly???  Again on the top pic you can see more little balls growing

either cynobacteria or a sponge

cant really tell 100%  either way id not worry too much

im sure someone will see what it is.

On the top pic its that whole foam area on my rock, bottom pic is a little bit of the foam has dropped off and seems to move

We can see what your talking about in the pictures mate... :) its just we need a clearer and if possible much closer shot... time to set the camera to macro mode... :wink:

cob web well its about a few cm thick as u can see on large pic but never touched it to see what it feels like but the top of it seems to be turning red

good idea not to touch stuff in the tank ... most things that cant get out of the way have other means of  deterring interference :)

Yeah don't touch... and even more importantly this isn't the time to go taste testing... its probably not as tasty as skimate anyway... 8P

Not quite sure it doesnt open out to move and it doesnt seem to roll but it is very slow

Use tongs or something to take it out and into a pint glass with salt water

then get some pics,

it should be clear upon a close look if it's alive or just carpet type.
