i just set up my aqua one aquareef 300 on fri, and its fantastic, for the price and the fact you get everyhtthing you need to set up with from the get go...... mines 300l, but you can get 275 cube and 400..........

The biggest tank you can afford.. Why? Because once you start this, you will want to upgrade pretty quickly!!!!

Think about what you want to keep and go for the most suitable size for what you want.

Most people start with the tank and then try to fit in unsuitable fish.  For example, someone may buy a 3 foot tank and want to keep tangs... it is not going to work that way.  Likewise, no point in buying a 6 footer if you only want some manderins and gobies.

You will also need to consider if you are going to keep fish only or venture into a reef tank with corals as the lighting requirements are different.

id advise the largest tank you can afford to keep as you dont keep fish you keep water and the more water you have the more stable it is
